1.) How much does the service cost? GO BACK
As a seller, the service is free. As a buyer, the service is only $2.00 a transaction.
2.) Can I use this service to sell other products?GO BACK
Yes you may - with a $2.00 transaction charge for each buyer for anything they purchase.
3.) How do I know when a payment has been made?GO BACK
As a buyer, you will receive confirmation E-mail that you have successfully made your payment. As a seller, you will receive confirmation E-mail when your buyer has actually made the payment (Also refer to #10)
4.) I can't remember my User ID and/or Password or they are invalid.GO BACK
Important! Remember that your User ID and Password are case sensitive. If you forget them, click on "I forgot" at the Login screen. Enter your mother's maiden name and your E-mail address and you will be given the Clue you entered when you chose your password. At this time, an E-mail containing your User ID and Password will be sent to you in case the Clue doesn't help you.
5.) May I use this service outside the U.S.?GO BACK
A bank account would have to be set up in the U.S. and could then be used to wire transfer the money anywhere in the world.
6.) How do I protect myself from fraud?GO BACK
EFD, Inc. is currently investigations escrow accounts for our customer's safety. This service will be implemented shortly.
7.) Is my personal information safe?GO BACK
We use the industry's highest level of Secure Socket Layers and 128-bit encryption code. Our servers are housed in the same data center used by 42 states' governments and most of the major US cities. It's two stories underground, has 6-foot thick walls, uses biometrics to limit entry, and has multiple back-up and redundant power supply! (It's safe!)
For your protection as well as ours, Billsite also prenotes new accounts upon registration to ensure that these are valid. This process adds 48 hours to the normal 72 hour turnaround time of a transaction. This is only performed on a NEW account.
8.) Do I have to use the suggested E-mail included in Billsite?GO BACK
As long as you have your magic hyperlink included in the letter, you may send the E-mail from any program you wish.
9.) What is a Magic Hyperlink?GO BACK
When you sign up with Billsite you will receive an E-Mail with a number so that we may identify you. This is your Magic Hyperlink.
10.) Why didn't I receive notification inmediately after sending a payment?GO BACK
ACH does not process on weekends or on bank holidays. Your payment information is stored in our data base until the ACH file is run on the next business day. When the file is run, your confirmation E-mail of payment (whether you are a buyer or seller) is generated.
11.) Can I use my credit card for this service?GO BACK
ACH processing has nothing to do with credit cards. It is electronic transfer of cash from one account to another account. Buyers may only use a checking account. Sellers may use a savings account for deposits but it is not recommended because if they wish to purchase something, safvings accounts will not be debited.
12.) May I use credit card checks and have them deduct it from my card?GO BACK
No, you may only use a checking account for ACH debiting.
13.) I received an error message while on the site. What do I do?GO BACK
If you experience any problems with the site, E-mail us at [email protected]. Make sure that you include all pertinent information so that we may assist you with the problem. For example, exactly what the error message read, what browser you are using, what page you were on - buyers or sellers side, etc. The more information we receive the easier it will be to help you.
14.) How can I check the status of my Billsite account?GO BACK
You must go to http://www.billsite.com and log in with your User ID and Password to be able to check your account's status. This will bring you to your personal Billsite page.
